WoW Season 4 Mythic+ Tier List: Best Specs for the Current Meta

 ·
With the latest tuning patches live, the Mythic+ meta has shifted dramatically. Augmentation Evokers remain king, but Feral Druids and Havoc Demon Hunters have seen significant buffs. We break down the full tier list across all roles and which affixes favor each spec this season.

With the latest tuning patches live, the Season 4 Mythic+ meta has entered one of its most interesting phases yet. This breakdown covers every DPS, healer, and tank spec across all key affixes — and tells you exactly what to bring to push keys at 18+. Augmentation Evoker remains the undisputed S-tier support DPS. The hybrid damage-and-buff kit continues to inflate the effective output of any party by 8–12% depending on your party composition. Every competitively-minded group running 18+ keys should have one. Feral Druid has rocketed up the charts following the bleed damage buff in Patch 11.0.7. In sustained single-target fights — which define a huge portion of Mythic+ boss encounters — Feral now competes with the top melee specs. The limitation is their relative weakness in AoE-heavy trash routes, but a skilled Feral player can compensate with cooldown management. Havoc Demon Hunter received its most impactful set bonus rework since Shadowlands. The new 4-piece creates a momentum-stacking loop that, when properly managed, produces some of the highest burst windows of any melee spec this season. They are back in the S-tier for coordinated groups. For tanks, Protection Warrior and Vengeance Demon Hunter lead the field. Vengeance's self-sustain in tyrannical weeks is unmatched — the soul fragment generation keeps you topped through encounters where other tanks require heavy healer attention. Healer meta is dominated by Mistweaver Monk and Preservation Evoker. Mistweaver's mobility and throughput at high keys is exceptional. Preservation brings unrivaled external cooldown coverage with Rewind, making them invaluable on fortified weeks with punishing trash packs. Bottom line: if you are pushing for rating, build your group around an Augmentation Evoker, a Vengeance DH tank, a Mistweaver, and two flex DPS spots. The flex spots should prioritize Feral Druid and Havoc DH for the current weekly affix rotation.
